Sync and Integrations

Can I connect Origin Studio to my existing systems? Yes. Origin Studio provides REST APIs for integration with downstream platforms, content management systems, and delivery pipelines. See API Integration for setup guidance.

What authentication does the API use? API access is authenticated via API keys, which are created and managed in the admin area. Keys are scoped to specific permissions and have configurable expiration dates.

Access and Permissions

Can I control what different users see and do? Yes. Origin Studio uses role-based permissions. Administrators can define roles that control view, edit, and approval access at the catalogue, field, and workflow-stage level. See First-Time Setup Guide for guidance on configuring roles.

Can users be restricted to specific catalogues? Yes. Roles can be scoped so that users only see titles within specific catalogues - or we call it permission groups.

What browsers are supported? Origin Studio supports the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Is there a mobile app? Origin Studio is a web-based application. There is no dedicated mobile app, but the interface is accessible from mobile browsers for light tasks.
