# Dashboards

## Releases

Change history for Origin Insights dashboards.

## Content Pulse

{% updates format="full" %}
{% update date="2026-08-14" %}

## v.1.5.1

**Full catalog exports are back.** The *Downloads* tab returns to Content Pulse: pick a country, a platform and a date, and get the complete catalog export for that combination.

#### New features

* **Downloads tab restored** — export a full catalog in four clicks. Choose country, platform and date; the export is prepared on the spot and delivered as a direct download, with clear feedback while it's being generated.
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-08-06" %}

## v.1.5.0

**Find content by the people who made it.** Dedicated *Directors* and *Cast* filters arrive, awards get one unified view, and the ads tier becomes visible in Assets Evolution — plus a richer set of columns across the custom views.

#### New features

* **Director & cast filters** — find titles by the people who made them, with dedicated *Directors* and *Cast* filters.
* **Unified awards view** — one consistent awards table, sortable by year, with counts fully aligned wherever awards appear.
* **Ads-tier visibility** — the *Subscription With Ads* business model is now charted in *Assets Evolution*.
* **Kids filter** — narrow the Content Catalog to kids-oriented content in one click.

#### Improvements

* **Richer custom views** — *Cast*, *Keywords*, *Original*, *Exclusive*, *Age*, *Platform Origin*, *Plan/Channel*, *Primary Language*, and *Languages* columns join the custom catalog views, along with a *Local* filter and language-filter fixes.
* **Consistent exports** — export headers are now unified across all catalog exports, with *Provider Code* present in the Content Catalog export.
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-07-24" %}

## v.1.4.0

**Find content by language, age, and origin.** New ways to slice the catalog — language filters, age classification, and platform origin — plus richer company metadata and cleaner, easier-to-read tables.

#### New features

* **Language filters** — filter the catalog views by *Language* and *Primary Language* to find content in the languages that matter to your market.
* **Age classification** — the custom catalog views add an *Age* column with each title's age rating, on screen and in the export.
* **Platform Origin** — a new custom-view column showing the platform a title originates from, included in the export.
* **Company lineage** — *Primary Production Company* and *Parent Company* join the content catalog, making ownership analysis straightforward.
* **English Title** — the Content Catalog now shows each title's English name alongside the original, in the table and the export.
* **Content overlap export** — download the catalog overlap analysis to keep working with it outside the platform.

#### Improvements

* **Navigation in product order** — the dashboard menu was reordered to follow the product structure, so sections appear where you expect them.
* **Leaner tables** — the internal *UID / Provider Code* column was removed from the on-screen catalog views to keep the focus on business-relevant fields. It remains available in the exports for traceability.

#### Fixes

* **Sticky country filter in Title Overview** — the country selection no longer resets every time you open a new title.
* **Clean title search** — a previously searched IMDb id no longer lingers in the search box.
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-07-02" %}

## v.1.3.0

**Richer catalog, cleaner exports, faster navigation.** A broad quality pass on the content catalog and custom views: more metadata to work with, exports that match exactly what you see on screen, and quicker access to your generated reports.

#### New features

* **One-click access to your reports** — every export confirmation now links straight to the Reports page, so you jump to your file without hunting for it.

#### Improvements

* **More catalog metadata** — the DAC content catalog adds *Scripted*, *Production Companies*, and *Exclusive*, plus a dedicated *Primary Production Country* separated from the full *Production Countries* list (now comma-separated for readability).
* **Leaner filtering** — the redundant *Production Location* filter was retired to keep the filter panel focused.

#### Fixes

* **On-screen table, export, and filters now fully aligned** — the Content Catalog (Current + Historical) unifies what you see, what you filter, and what you download: added UID, *Exclusive*, date fields, and *Cast*, with *Primary Production Country* split out on its own.
* **Custom views aligned end-to-end** — table and export share the same UID and column names, with production country and production companies broken into separate columns.
* **Sharper scope in custom views** — the DAC view now returns only your contracted platforms, avoiding out-of-scope content when no platform is selected.
* **Complete exports** — *Provider Code* is restored across the DAC and Telecom exports.
* **Cleaner values** — unmapped country codes now show blank instead of "Unknown," and the extra space after commas in the *Genres* field was removed.
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-07-23" %}

## v.1.2.0

**Package-level detail in Release by Package & regional guidance.** More precision when analyzing distribution by package, plus clearer guidance on region-specific sections.

#### Improvements

* **Plan and package visibility** — the *Release by Package* tables (SVOD/TVE and AVOD/FVOD) now show *Plan Name* and *Package Code*, so records that share a plan name but belong to different packages are easy to tell apart.
* **Clearer regional context** — the *Top Titles* section now shows an informational message when no LATAM market is selected, since the section is LATAM-specific. It disappears as soon as a regional market is active.

#### Fixes

* **Consistent column naming and a new *****Kids***** attribute** — the custom view header now reads *ProviderCode* correctly (on screen and in the CSV export), and a sortable *Kids* column (Yes/No) was added right after *Original*.
* **Full-catalog sorting** — sorting by *Year* in the custom views now applies across the entire paginated catalog, not just the visible page.
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-06-12" %}

## v.1.1.11

**Reliable external links in Title Overview.** Deep links to external metadata sources from *Title Overview* now resolve to the right page every time.

#### Fixes

* **Filmweb and Rotten Tomatoes links** — both were returning "not found" due to malformed URLs; they now build correctly and were verified against the live sites.
* **TMDb and TVDb links for series** — these previously always pointed to the movie route, breaking links for series. The URL is now built according to the title type (series vs. movie).
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-06-04" %}

## v.1.1.10

#### DAC Custom View: Director, Cast, and Writers

Fix for missing data in the **Director**, **Cast**, and **Writers** columns of the DAC custom view.

#### **Bug fix**

* **Director, Cast, and Writers columns with no data in DAC Custom View** — the columns appeared empty even though the data was available. The issue was an incomplete mapping in the catalog transformation, which prevented those fields from reaching the table. With this fix, the three fields now render correctly.

#### PBI Embedded Background Color

Applies the requested background color to the Power BI dashboards embedded in the platform.

#### **Improvement**

* **Solid background on embedded PBI dashboards** — the color `#F5F5F5` is applied as the container background where the Power BI dashboards render, matching the tone of the active dashboards in the Portal. The change also covers loading and error states.

#### Custom Views Sort Fix & UI Improvements

Resolves sorting issues in the custom views and rolls out accessibility improvements in the interface.

#### **Fixes**

* **Column sorting in Custom DAC and Custom Telecom** — sorting by *Year* and *Title* now applies to the entire dataset (server-side), not just the currently visible page. Resolves the behavior where sorting broke on pagination.
* **Broken poster images** — fixed loading of Amazon CDN posters that failed on certain titles. The app now automatically retries with an alternate URL format.
* **Filters in Title Overview** — normalized the behavior of country and platform filters when the selected value is *All*, preventing an empty filter from being applied incorrectly.
* **Parent Companies filter** — fixed value separation for companies whose name includes a comma (e.g., *Netflix, Inc.*).

#### **Improvements**

* **Distribution history** — added the *Plan/Channel* column in the distribution detail for a title inside Title Overview.
* **Sidebar quick links** — added direct links to the [Knowledge Base](https://knowledgebase.fabricdata.com/insights) and the Support portal from the user menu.
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-05-21" %}

## v.1.0.0

**First formal release of Content Pulse** under the new semver scheme. Consolidates the project's first sprint with a focus on data quality, alignment of counts across views, fixing contradictions detected in QA, and new filters and groupings. Includes web dashboards and the legacy PowerBI dashboards.

**Summary**: 42 items delivered across new features, improvements to existing features, and bug fixes.

#### New features

**Search and filtering**

* **`searchTitle` field** — searches titles across Metadata and Presences in a single query.
* **Production Companies filter with grouping by Parent Company** — lets you query the catalog grouping all subsidiaries under their parent.
* **New filter in Platform Details** to narrow the analysis.
* **Filters on presence** — more breakdown options on content availability.

**Availability evolution**

* **Availability Evolution only opens from Export View** to avoid confusion with mixed catalogs.
* **View limited to Historical Catalog** — temporary UI restriction while the data contradiction fix is consolidated.

**Unified data**

* **Unification of contents with `out_on` and `enter_on` on the same dates** — removes artificial duplicates in the presence timeline.

**Views and dashboards**

* **DAC Custom View** — content-based view independent of business model, plan, or add-on.
* **Platform Status with horizontal scroll** in the platform cards.
* **Release by Package (proposed visualization)** — first iteration of how to show the impact of the start of fieldwork per OTT.

**Backend and architecture**

* **API parameter standardization** — consistency in how endpoints accept filters.
* **Downloads — Under Construction** — temporary removal of the module with a message pointing to the Commercial team while it's being rebuilt.

#### Improvements

* **Releases 2026 QA** — thorough review focused on UNEXT (high volume), APV, and Discovery (sports).
* **Alignment between Content Pulse and PPB** — Subs With Ads in BR and MX now match across both dashboards.
* **Title Overview — Availability Evolution** — improved visualization of multiple lines per streaming service.

#### Bug fixes

**Catalog and Overview**

* Differences in episode and season counts.
* Invalid counts when filtering by movies with Release 2026.
* Platform and content counts didn't match.
* Series count differed from PowerBI.
* GloboPlay with discrepancies in episodes.
* By Age: percentage format.

**Content Catalog**

* Titles Count with possible duplicates.
* *Kids* only returned "No".
* Sort by Column only sorted the current page.
* APV Channels.

**Availability Evolution**

* **Contradiction between Historical and Current Catalogs** — critical fix.
* Izzi VOD without a fieldwork start date.
* Date formats in `enter_on`.
* *Surveyed Since* empty for discontinued platforms.

**Title Overview**

* external\_ids container not shown on some titles (*The Godfather* case).
* External Identifiers — *Origin* now links to the title ID on `fabricorigin.com`.

**Platforms**

* **`IS_EXCLUSIVE` broken on Disney** — critical fix.
* Production Countries: variable with a single country.
* Validated VOD in Business Model labels.
* Platform logos and names updated.
* Platform Details — *Assets Evolution* with Netflix.
* Platform Status: reasons for *Discontinued* and *Not Qualified* states.
* Top Titles — *Score Evolution* / *Position Evolution*.

**Custom Views and other views**

* DAC: *Provider Code* equal to UID.
* Awards Insights: title filter didn't work.
* Genre Analysis: *Is Original* filter.
* Price Evolution: External ID with full URL.
 {% endupdate %}
 {% endupdates %}

## Origin Insights New Generation

{% hint style="info" %}
**Progressive rollout — early preview.** The new-generation dashboard is being released gradually: modules arrive first as a preview, and live data connections land module by module. We'll publish updates here continuously as the rollout advances.
{% endhint %}

{% updates format="full" %}
{% update date="2026-08-21" %}

## v.1.2.0

**Live data reaches Contents.** The first module graduates from preview to real data: the *Contents* section now runs on the Origin Insights API, so its KPIs and charts answer to the filters you apply. The rest of the modules continue rolling out progressively.

#### New features

* **Content analytics on live data** — the headline KPIs and the evolution charts read from the platform and respond to the filters you apply; the content catalog and details now run on real data too, instead of preview figures.
* **Catalog composition at a glance** — most popular genres, top production companies, and content origins by production country, each as its own view.
* **Rankings by platform** — top contents by streaming service, so you can see what leads where.
* **Catalog evolution over time** — how a catalog grows and changes, plus assets charted by business model and the distribution history of a title across services.
* **Content movements** — what entered and what left the catalog in a period.
* **User administration** — a new admin area to manage users and their data permissions directly in the dashboard.
* **Your profile, remembered** — onboarding is completed once; from then on you go straight to the dashboard.

#### Improvements

* **Filters that stay in context** — each section keeps its own filter scope, and the available filter options come from the platform itself, so you only ever see values that return data.
* **Consistent regional naming** — country regions now read the same across the dashboard and the API.
* **Steadier typography** — the interface font resolves consistently across every view.

#### Fixes

* **Accurate content totals** — the total content variation now reflects the net change, so the figure matches what the catalog actually did over the period.
* **Readable genre view** — the genre cloud is capped and animated progressively, and the content details table no longer overflows on long lists.
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-07-23" %}

* **All core modules on board** — *Contents*, *Streaming Platforms*, *Countries & Regions*, *Talents*, *Users & Audience*, *Live Channels*, *News & Trends*, *Market Analysis*, and *Settings* are available to explore.
* **Build your own dashboard** — a manual dashboard builder with a custom viewer lets you compose the views you need.
* **Streamlined access** — a public landing page with secure single sign-on and a guided onboarding flow.

#### Improvements

* **Refreshed design language** — Origin Insights design tokens and typography, with a shared chart and world-map layer for a consistent look across modules.
 {% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-06-03" %}

#### Origin Insights New Generation

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledgebase.fabricdata.com/insights/releases/dashboards.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
