## Fabric Data Hosting <a href="#protectionofconfidentialdata-securityrequirements-data-fabricdatahosting" id="protectionofconfidentialdata-securityrequirements-data-fabricdatahosting"></a>

Fabric’s Customer Data is stored in Single-Tenant AWS RDS Managed databases. Fabric’s Data Security Model Features Include:

* Physical Segregation of Customer Data utilizing client-specific and environment-specific Instances

* Strong cryptography and security protocols (TLS 1.2+ or a minimally equivalent protocol) to safeguard sensitive data during transmission over open, public networks.

* Strong encryption of data at rest utilizing NIST Security Requirements for Cryptographic Modules (FIPS 140-3) and NIST CMVP Approved Security Functions

## Fabric Advanced Reporting <a href="#protectionofconfidentialdata-securityrequirements-data-fabricadvancedreporting" id="protectionofconfidentialdata-securityrequirements-data-fabricadvancedreporting"></a>

Fabric’s [Advanced Reporting](/fabric-knowledge-base/learn-the-application/destinations/reporting.md) Feature utilizes Google’s Looker Reporting Engine to produce reports for its users. The Looker Platform serves as a viewing mechanism for the Customer's Data stored in the Client’s environment databases and does not store data externally to the Fabric Infrastructure.

{% hint style="success" %}
Customer Data is only stored on Fabric’s Internally Hosted Database Servers.
{% endhint %}
