# Scheduling
Scheduling plays a crucial role in ensuring that content reaches its target audience effectively and efficiently. The scheduling tab offers a consolidated view of all your scheduling data for each record, including dates, platforms and IDs and the associated business models.
The scheduling tab is fully configurable to each specific client's requirements. Don't hesitate to reach out to your Project/ Customer Success Manager to discuss how you can make the most out of this feature!
**Scheduling Platform Mapping**
Each **Scheduling Platform** has its own configuration defined in Record Builder.\
Every configuration includes two key fields — **key** and **system** — which are used to identify and match data to the correct platform.
**Example configuration:**

#### Record Requirements
To correctly map a record to its corresponding Scheduling Platform configuration, the record’s payload must include both of the following fields, and their values must exactly match the configuration:

If these values don’t match exactly (for example, using `slow` instead of `fast`), the record won’t be linked to any platform settings and related scheduling data will not load as expected.\

Users will be able to configure the scheduling tab into bespoke sections, enabling them to organize the tab by Business Models or Scheduling Systems. Hierarchical Levels (e.g Platforms, Scheduled Dates and ID's) and the Attributes against them will also be customizable from within Record Builder.
