# Core Functionality

### Core Functionality

1. **Initiate Show Creation in Fabric**:
   * Begin by creating a syndicated show within the Fabric platform. This step doesn't require a structured format.
2. **Gracenote Integration for Show Enrichment**:
   * If your Fabric platform is set up for automatic lookup with Gracenote, upon show creation, Fabric will initiate a search within Gracenote's database. It aims to find the best matching show and populate the Fabric record using data from the matched Gracenote record.
   * In cases where automatic lookup isn't configured, manually input the correct Gracenote ID. Alternatively, use the title look-up feature in Fabric to determine the appropriate Gracenote ID for the record. Ensure the correct Show Gracenote ID is populated to continue with the enrichment process.
3. **Trigger Enrichment Process**:
   * On the enriched show record within Fabric, initiate the enrichment process. This entails setting specific start and end dates to gather episode data.
4. **Retrieve Data Automatically**:
   * Fabric will autonomously fetch new season and episode metadata directly from Gracenote, ensuring your show's details are up-to-date.
5. **Stay Informed with Notifications**:
   * Fabric will monitor Gracenote for any modifications or updates. If changes are detected, they will automatically be mirrored in Fabric. For every new or updated record, users receive email notifications, ensuring they remain informed.
