Enjoy a seamless transition with consistent terminology in both record and data set sections. :art: Managing credit roles just got a vibrant upgrade! Now, in addition to role assignment, you can add a splash of color to differentiate roles in record view. Easily organize and identify information at a glance with customizable color codes.

Our new Contributors product feature streamlines the process of adding, updating, and managing contributor information. \ **Find out how:** [Contributors](/fabric-knowledge-base/learn-the-application/destinations/preferences/contributors.md). ## Credits Tab Data Summary {% tabs %} {% tab title="Credits" %} ### Credits {% hint style="info" %} Refers to the relationship between the individuals involved in the production of a film or television show and the record itself. {% endhint %} #### Credits Data Summary | Field | Description | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Credit List | Allows users to select and manage different “Credit Lists” which allow for different configurations of the credits for different delivery purposes. | | Language Script | This dropdown menu adjusts the tab to present, and enable metadata to be stored in, different regional alphabets and writing systems. The scripts are defined and managed as part of the Language Data set. | | Ranking | Refers to the order, by role, in which personnel are credited in a film or TV series. This order is usually determined by the order of importance of each individual's role in the production. | | Contributor Name | The Name of the Contributor associated with the credit. | | [Role](/fabric-knowledge-base/learn-the-application/default-data-sets/credit-roles.md) | The name of a job that a person has within a film or TV production, such as actor, director, producer, visual effects supervisor, etc. | | Character Name | Refers to the name of a fictional character featured in a film or TV show portrayed by the Contributor. | | Role Type | Roles are separated into three types; Cast, Crew or Additional Contributions. | | Contributor ID | The unique Fabric ID associated with the Contributor associated with the credit. | | Contributor IMDB | The unique IMDb ID associated with the Contributor associated with the credit. | | Credit ID | The unique ID that links the Contributor, with the Role, with the Record. #### Contributors Data Summary | Field | Description | | ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Date of Birth | Refers to the date on which a contributor was born | | IMDB ID | The IMDb ID relating to the contributor. | | ISNI ID | The ISNI ID relating to the contributor. | | HAND ID | The HAND ID relating to the contributor. | | Origin Person ID | The Fabric Origin ID relating to the contributor. | | Language Script | This dropdown menu adjusts the tab to present, and enable metadata to be stored in, different regional alphabets and writing systems. The scripts are defined and managed as part of the Language Data set. | | Title | The salutation to be used for the Contributor. | | First Name | The contributors first name. | | Middle Name | The contributors middle name if known / applicable. | | Last Name | The contributors last name. | | Alternative Name | Refer to a different name used by an actor in the film or TV industry.
