# Awards

The awards tab allows customers to store awards data relating to a record, an award can comprise of the Awards Body, the Year of the Awards, the Category, Result and any specific contributors.

| Language Script                                                                                        | This dropdown menu adjusts the tab to present, and enable metadata to be stored in, different regional alphabets and writing systems. The scripts are defined and managed as part of the Language Data set.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   |
| [Awards Body](/fabric-knowledge-base/learn-the-application/default-data-sets/awards.md#awards-bodies)  | An organisation or institution that administers and presents awards to recognise excellence in film & TV. These awards bodies are typically associated with awarding the most prestigious awards in the film industry such as the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, and the BAFTAs.                                                                                                                                                          |
| [Result](/fabric-knowledge-base/learn-the-application/default-data-sets/awards.md#awards-results)      | Refers to the outcome of awards ceremonies such as the Academy Awards and Emmy Awards. These award results are typically announced during the ceremonies and are based on votes from industry professionals.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  |

These categories usually represent a certain genre, such as Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, or Best Original Screenplay. Each category is usually judged by a panel of critics and industry professionals, who then decide which film or actor will receive the award. The awards categories can also vary depending on the film festival or organisation. |
| Contributor/s                                                                                          | One or more contributors that were specifically recognised as part of the award.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              |
