# Role Management

## Introduction to Role Management

Role Management is a key destination within the Fabric application that allows administrators to configure User Roles and assign them to the relevant Policies, ensuring the access to the different areas of the Fabric product is limited to the relevant users. This might be to get the necessary visibility, to not disclose any sensitive information to certain user groups, and is also a convenient way of making sure using the product is not overwhelming to users - i.e. keep the UI clean and relevant to each user. By using Role Management, administrators can maintain control over different areas of the Fabric product and ensure that users have access to only the information and tools they need to perform their jobs effectively. This feature is particularly useful for organizations that need to manage complex user hierarchies and ensure that sensitive information is protected from unauthorized access.
