Learn how to create new description fields in Record Builder, and move, edit and enable or disable existing descriptions:

<summary>Create a new Description</summary>

Click the edit button in the top right-hand corner of Record Builder to manage and edit your descriptions.

Select "New Description" and complete the mandatory fields of Description Name and the Record Categories it will be used for.&#x20;

Choose whether you want your description to :

* Display in the header
* Show Proposed/Approved Status
* Have the google translate function

Choose to set a character Limit for your description, and  whether you want to enforce that character limit (e.g cut off text over the limit).

Choose whether there should be a comment box for your field, and set a default comment.&#x20;

Drag and drop the tiles to alter the position they will be displayed in on a record.&#x20;

Click on the drop-down at the right-hand side of a tile and select edit to reveal the edit pop-up.

Click on the drop-down at the right-hand side of a tile to disable it. The tile will then move to the disabled tiles section. To enable a tile, select enable. Disabled tiles cannot be edited.&#x20;
