# Create Date, Time and Duration Tiles

With [Record Builder](/fabric-knowledge-base/learn-the-application/destinations/preferences/record-builder.md), users can instantly create bespoke fields with their chosen configuration and validations. Users now have access to more bespoke metadata fields in the small tile format including: 

* Date
* Time
* Date & Time
* Duration 
* Year

Tailor the metadata tab to your specifications by configuring your preferred date/time format and making fields mandatory/optional, and read-only.

It's important to note here that this Format only affects how the date is displayed in the UI. This will not determine how the data is stored in the payload
