# Create and Manage IDs in Record Builder

## :1234:   Create Client, Supply Chain and Alternate ID fields in Record Builder

Learn how to create new ID fields in Record Builder. The process is the same for Client, Supply Chain and Alternate IDs.

Select either Client, Supply Chain or Alternate IDs from the Record Builder menu on the left-hand side.&#x20;

Click the edit button in the top right-hand corner of Record Builder to manage and edit your IDs.

Select "New ID" and complete the mandatory fields of ID Name and the Record Categories it will be used for.&#x20;

Choose whether you want your ID to be:

* Unique
* Read Only in the User Interface
* Included in the AWS "SNS Message Attributes"

Choose whether to include a URL.&#x20;

Type the URL and then replace the ID with {id} to link to individual titles. E.g <https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1160419/> > <https://www.imdb.com/title/{id}>

Drag and drop the tiles to alter the position they will be displayed in on a record.&#x20;

Click on the drop-down at the right-hand side of a tile and select edit to reveal the edit pop-up.

Click on the drop-down at the right-hand side of a tile to disable it. The tile will then move to the disabled tiles section. To enable a tile, select enable. Disabled tiles cannot be edited.&#x20;
