# Create Records from EIDR

As well as <mark style="color:blue;">creating and enriching records</mark> from scratch, users can create records with data coming in from EIDR.&#x20;

How to create records with data coming in from EIDR step-by-step:

Access create from EIDR in at the top of the screen.&#x20;

Fill in the record title, release year and record category to search for your title.&#x20;

Creating from EIDR allows you to enrich your record from the outset using it's EIDR ID.&#x20;

Select your Record and toggle the attributes you want to enrich.

If a record with the same EIDR ID already exits in the platform, you will encounter an error.
