# Coming Soon! Include Record Builder Fields in SNS

Custom IDs are already able to be added to the body of an SNS Message. Soon we will be adding the ability to send your other Custom Fields in the SNS Body, to enable more streamlined integrations across your supply chain.

To include [Record Builder](/fabric-knowledge-base/learn-the-application/destinations/preferences/record-builder.md) Fields in [SNS](/fabric-knowledge-base/api/integrating-with-fabric-studio/amazon-simple-notification-service-sns.md) perform the following steps:

## 1. Configure a Custom Field that is included in SNS messages

1. Navigate to Preferences > Record Builder > {sub menu for area you want to add a custom field to}

2. Select the `Edit Custom Fields` button and then `New Small Tile` button

3. Fill out the details for creating a new `Boolean` type small tile\
   \
   a) Give the tile a `Tile Name` users will understand\
   b) Give the tile a `Backend Label` your technical integration team will understand\
   c) Select which Record Categories the new tile will be available to\
   d) Turn `Send to SNS` option to `true`<br>

4. Navigate to a record, and select `Edit Record` to edit the record
5. Navigate to the area of the record where the custom field was created (Metadata / Custom Fields in the example above)
6. Turn the toggle switch on

## 2. Custom Field Results in SNS Message

Now that a custom field has been created and configured to be included in the SNS messages we will see that field included in the message when a record is created or updated for the record categories the field is applied to.

Now you can trigger external integrations and actions based on not only the standard available message fields, but those that support this feature in Record Builder.
